Duties of the General Academic Coordinator of the Pharmacy Program - PharmD:
The Dean of the College appoints a general coordinator for academic programs from among the college’s faculty members who is specialized in the following:
1. Follow up on the implementation of the decisions of the Program Supervision Committee.
2. Follow up on study schedules and follow up on the regularity of studies.
3. Follow up on the work of examinations, monitoring committees, and results.
4. Follow up on the academic quality system for academic programs.
5. Follow up on scholarship systems for students from industrial institutions and civil society organizations.
6. Proposing mechanisms for developing existing and new programs and presenting them to the Supervisory Committee.
7. Preparing performance reports at the end of each semester and presenting them to the supervisory committee.

The General Coordinator of the Programs also performs the tasks assigned to him in coordination with the Dean of the College and the Vice Dean for Student Affairs. The General Coordinator of the Programs also assists the General Specialized Level Coordinators in performing the tasks assigned to them.

Criteria for selecting the academic coordinator for the program:
1. To be one of the college's appointed faculty members.
2. He must have previous experience working in the program.
3. To be familiar with the credit hour system.
4. Must have at least the rank of Assistant Professor.
5. He must not have previously been investigated for any administrative violations.
6. His appointment must be approved by an executive decision from Mr. Professor/Dean of the College.
