About of Biochemistry Department
The department mainly teaches the subjects Biochemistry 1, Biochemistry 2, Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical Nutrition, Cell Biology, and Molecular Biology in its various branches, whether at the undergraduate level or at the postgraduate level.In addition, the department coordinates, supervises, and teaches some of the courses required at the postgraduate level. In addition, the same courses are taught in the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Pharm de Clinical) program on a credit hour system. On the other hand, the department is interested in conducting advanced research in the fields of basic and clinical biochemistry. For example, assessing the levels of heart and circulatory function indicators in some diseases, and stem cells and genetic expansion associated with some diseases.
