Stages of applying for a PhD at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Beni Suef University
1. Registration for a PhD can be done at any time of the year after the student has completed a research plan for the PhD thesis under the supervision of the department in which he/she wishes to register
2. The student places his/her papers in the envelope (original bachelor's degree - original master's degree - original birth certificate - cumulative grades statement - military service status - 6 personal photos - approval of the employer if the student is working - bringing a laboratory for his/her practical study when registering for the research point - a copy of the national ID card) then filling out the enrollment papers inside the envelope, provided that the student returns the envelope to the Graduate Studies Department after completing the aforementioned papers.
3. The student conducts a seminar in the department in which he/she wishes to join, then obtains the approval of the department council for the student's registration.
4. Obtains the approval of the college council for the student's registration.
5. Sends the student's papers to obtain approval for his/her registration from the university council.
6. The value of the fees for the first year of registration is (2773) Egyptian pounds, and the student pays his tuition fees every year until the thesis is discussed.
7. The minimum period for discussing the doctorate is two Gregorian years starting from the date of registering the thesis, and the maximum period for discussion is five Gregorian years starting from the date of registering the thesis, taking into account the cases of extension and suspension of registration.
