Researchers are one of the most important groups at Beni Suef University. Therefore, the Department of Graduate Studies and Research provides scientific, research and educational services that help them advance scientific research and at the same time motivate them to be creative, distinguished and excelled, so that they can contribute to solving society’s problems on the one hand, and advance scientific research and raise the university’s international classification on the other hand. The university is keen to provide all means and best ways to achieve this.
Duties of the College Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research:
1. Preparing a plan for graduate studies and scientific research in the college based on the suggestions of department councils and relevant committees
2. Follow up on the implementation of this plan by the various departments of the college
3. Supervising scientific publishing affairs in the college and following up on the implementation of the policy drawn up in this regard
4. Organizing scientific conferences and seminars at the college and undertaking external cultural relations affairs
5. Preparing what is presented to the college’s annual conference in this regard
6. Supervising library affairs and proposing a plan to provide it with books, references, and periodicals
7. Supervising the affairs of the college’s central laboratory and proposing a plan to provide it with modern capabilities
