Academic Advising Activities for Course Registration for Students of the Bachelor of Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy Programs

The Faculty of Pharmacy has commenced the activities of course registration, as well as add and drop procedures, for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) Program and the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Pharm D – Clinical Pharmacy) Program for the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.

In this regard, an integrated Academic Advising Unit has been formed, comprising a distinguished group of faculty members, with the aim of guiding students and assisting them in selecting their courses in alignment with their academic plans. Each academic advisor has been assigned to every fifteen (15) students to ensure the quality of follow-up and guidance.

The Faculty has also allocated a special follow-up unit for academically struggling students, at a rate of one academic advisor for every five (5) students. Individual meetings were held to discuss the reasons for academic underperformance and to establish practical mechanisms to support them and improve their academic performance. Each student was provided with a “Follow-up Card” to monitor the progress of their academic level and their level of commitment throughout the semester.

Course registration and add/drop procedures are scheduled to continue until the end of next week.

On another note, WhatsApp communication groups have been created between academic advisors and their assigned students to enhance communication channels and ensure continuous follow-up regarding attendance, periodic assessments, and the progress of the educational process during the current semester.
