Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, President of Beni Suef University; Prof. Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdelmawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Dr. Shahira Fawzi El-Menshawy, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; and Prof. Dr. Eglal Abdelhamid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and in cooperation with the Faculty of Nursing at Beni Suef University, the Training Committee of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty organized a seminar on first aid on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
The seminar was delivered by Dr. Walaa Eid Zaki, Lecturer of Medical-Surgical Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Beni Suef University. It addressed the importance of first aid in saving lives and responding quickly and correctly in emergency situations. It also covered how to deal with cases of bleeding, burns, and fractures, in addition to proper training on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in emergency situations.
This comes within the framework of the university’s commitment to enhancing health awareness and promoting a culture of first aid among staff, contributing to improving safety levels within the university work environment and enabling efficient and effective immediate response to emergencies.
